‘Green’ wood boiler debuts in PA state park system

Caledonia State Park is leading the way in the use of a new “green” heating system.

The park near Fayetteville will be the first state park in Pennsylvania to use a WoodMaster wood boiler.

“This is kind of our flagship. We want to see how it works out and how staff likes it,” said Paula Devore, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources park manager and program specialist. “On paper, it will save money from the budget, so it’s just a matter that they like working with it.”
