Authorities say they’re investigating the destruction of more than $350,000 worth of logging equipment in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.

The Marquette County sheriff’s department said in a statement that logging equipment was destroyed or damaged in July and August in Champion and Michigamme townships. On Thursday, the department released a sketch of a person of interest in the case.

The man was seen riding an off-road vehicle in the area with a woman on a separate off-road vehicle.

The equipment belonged to two logging companies working on private property. State police and federal authorities are involved in the investigation.

The sheriff’s department is seeking tips from the public in the case.
